College during the time of COVID-19 is one of the most surreal experiences one can have. While some schools switched to completely online schooling, others created a mixed program of in-person classes and online. This photo essay examines the current situation at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. The continuity in themes through the images lies in COVID-19 and the black and white coloring.

These images are not meant to be artistic master pieces, but rather capture the realness and seriousness of the present situation impacting college campuses across the United States.
